Scope and Contents This collection consists of letters and memos detailing the work of the society, letters to and from Cornelia Shaw from society members, the inaugural Presidential address delivered by William Fleming, and two ledgers, 1876-1914. The Correspondence Tyson & Latimer file contains a letter written by Henry Fries explaining the origins of the 1876 Tyson and 1881 Latimer letters.
